I was in girl scouts, yes. 

Recently, I became fascinated by this album (Ocean Eyes, by Owl City.) I'm not sure what it is - the rhythms, the titles, maybe the lyrics - but I love it. I've had the album on repeat nonstop for hours.

I think I love Owl City for their honest, obscure and clever lyrics. For example:

(Dental Care)

I brush my teeth

and look in the mirror,

and laugh out loud,

as I'm beaming from ear to ear.

I'd rather pick flowers, instead of fights.

I'll swallow my pride with an aspirin,

and shut my mouth.

They fill the open air,

Those - Dental Care and Fireflies - are two of my absolute favorite songs, but I also adore The Bird and the Worm, Vanilla Twilight, Tidal Wave, The Saltwater Room and Cave In, off that album.

all the time, all the time.

hey, it's sophie. i blog - well, in the loosest sense of the term - at sophieinwonder-land.blogspot.com. basically, i write a haiku per day. now, while i see this as a great way to use up creative energy, i realized that i have much more to say. not a lot can be said about my views, my life and my opinions in seventeen syllables a day. so, i've created milk + tea, a place for me to blog about, well, anything.
